​United Marine Agencies is a service organisation providing Shipping Services. The service we offer is our “product”. In United Marine Agencies, our goal is to go beyond satisfying the requirements and expectations of our customers. At all levels of the UMA, our aim is to fulfill our goal.

​As a team, we must all strive together to ensure that our activities, offices and equipment are as perfect as possible. The quality of our behaviour, our performance, our written documents and our equipment reflect the quality of our organization.

​Our personnel regularly review their behaviour, performance and their written procedures to constantly improve the service delivered. We all know that we are not infallible, but we also know that the future of our organization lies in constantly re-evaluating and improving our behaviour, services and equipment.

​The Quality System Manuals describe the quality of our organization, as well as the activities and performance. The Quality System Manuals, as minimum, fulfils the requirements of ISO9001:2015.

​In order to effectively implement its Quality Policy, the Company:

  • Monitors and insures the compliance with all applicable Legislation or any other applicable requirement/ standard that the Company voluntarily adopts.
  • Sets quality objectives towards the continuous improvement of the system.
  • Provides adequate resources for the effective implementation of the QMS.
  • Continuously improves the QMS by taking necessary action for identified problem areas through the implementation of Internal Auditing and Management Review System.
  • Monitors its customers’ satisfaction related to the service provided.
  • Monitors its suppliers’ /contractors’ performance and ability to comply with our standards and goals.
  • Ensures that adequate measures are implemented, monitored and reviewed for all identified risks, opportunities or necessary changes.
  • Promotes internal feedback from employees.

Our personnel know what the quality of United Marine Agencies stands for and adhere to this policy. We all know what is expected of us in our functions and we will use all our skills to achieve this. In United Marine Agencies, all personnel are able to react and give constructive recommendations to continuously improve the services offered. We must keep improving in order to maintain the quality of service offered by United Marine Agencies.

The Company’s Top Management monitors and reviews the Quality Policy & Objectives on a regular basis in order to ensure that they remain relevant and effective.
